PE CURRICULUM

Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong has an indoor heated pool complex consisting of a 25m x 13.5m, 6 lane swimming pool and a shallower 10m x 5m pool for beginners. The school works in collaboration with Eliteswim Academy to offer an outstanding aquatics programme.

Eliteswim Academy was founded by Hong Kong champion swimmers and record holders Mr Kent Cheung and Mr Gary Wong. It has a dedicated team of carefully selected, internationally accredited swimming instructors.

All Shrewsbury International School Primary and Early Years students engage in a weekly aquatics lesson. These lessons are taught in small, ability based groups. During these lessons the students develop their water confidence, perfect their swimming techniques, learn water safety and personal survival and engage in a variety of aquatic activities including long distance swimming, swimming meets and galas, biathlon and many more.

AFTER SCHOOL AQUATICS (ASA)

Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong also offers an extensive range of high quality after school aquatics lessons. These classes range from Baby and Me lessons through to Competitive Training squads.
