Celebrating Student Success - LumiVioce 2022

Following the assessment of thousands of entries submitted from students at schools across the region, we are delighted to share the news that Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong was announced the Overall Winner of an Earth Day competition hosted by LumiVoce.

Driven by our very own Eco Committee, students led the digital arrangement of an involving and encapsulating musical performance of I am the Earth, composed by Glyn Lehmann. Due to the widespread suspension of classes in response to Covid, final submission relied upon the collation of individual recordings from primary-aged students.

Asked whether she was keen to participate again in 2023, Eco Committee Chair and Reception Class Teacher, Lissie Rowe exclaimed, “We have to - student voice is an integral part of the Shrewsbury experience and our children are passionate about biodiversity and sustainability.”
