• A: Whilst many programmes underestimate the challenges of learning academic English to a near-native standard, the HQP has been built in alignment with the English National Curriculum and is designed to deliver standards of attainment just as high as those observed in a more typically distributed international school curriculum.

• Q: Will a bilingual programme allow my child to engage with the rigors of Chinese mathematics?

• A: Although many schools adopt an international model for mathematics, HQP students benefit from full interconnection with Chinese Mathematics and the Chinese National Curriculum.

• Q: Is the bilingual programme balanced across a year, but not the day?

• A: HQP students engage with English and Chinese everyday in a programme offering a harmonious linguistic balance. Over eight full years, the HQP is benchmarked against the Chinese and English National Curricula.
