Overall FOBISIA Competition WinnerYear 3 Shrewsbury student, Daisy, was recognised as the Overall Winner in the Year 3 category of the 2023 Primary Poetry Competition hosted by the Federation of British International Schools (FOBISIA) shortly prior to the conclusion of the academic year.
This years' competition drew submissions on the theme of Where I Go and with almost 200 participating schools, recognition comes hard-earned. Poet and appointed judge, Sara Hirsch, described Daisy’s entry as delicate, well structured and subtle, remarking specifically upon her use of imaginative language.
“Our FOBISIA connection enhances and enriches the experience of students across the school. We are hugely proud of Daisy - acknowledgement serves as a fitting recognition for her extraordinary talent.”Ben Keeling, Principal
