“We are privileged to work alongside such a diverse group of parents and within a community that fosters values of openness, understanding, sensitivity and adaptation. We have enjoyed great success this year and have a great deal to look forward to.”

Andy Baker, SPA Chair

The SPA was established by parents to promote close cooperation and positive understanding between the school leaders and the parent community, for the promotion of the School’s Mission and Values. As such, representation and inclusion are key drivers for recruitment, activity and review.

“As we reflect upon all that has been accomplished this year, the securing of Accreditation with the Council of International Schools stands particularly prominently in my mind. Coming as a result of a three year journey of engagement, our report acts to acknowledge many of our greatest strengths. Among them, educational leadership, Governance, the collation and utilisation of student views, our approach to safeguarding, the management of health and safety and standards of communication were all deemed to be exceeding standards. Academic achievement was also rightly heralded.”

Ben Keeling, Shrewsbury Principal

With a total of eight new additions secured, ambition among the group has never been higher.
