A Shrewsbury Story: Kimberly and George’s Family

Keen to learn more about our incredible community, we speak to a Shrewsbury family every month to find out about their journey, their aspiration and their hopes for the future. This month is the turn of Kimberly and George’s family - this is their story:

“We moved to Lohas Park in 2014 and were very excited to learn that Shrewsbury planned to open nearby just a few years later. At that time, our children were attending a local kindergarten which was warm and nurturing but didn’t meet our academic expectations.”

“We met the Founding (and current) Principal, Mr Keeling at a presentation in Central and immediately knew that Shrewsbury would be the right school for our children. Kimberly joined as the school opened in 2018 and George joined just a year later.”

“Use of the British curriculum immediately appealed. The quality of the academic team and facilities were also highly persuasive. We live just 10 minutes from campus, which allows us to be entirely engaged in all aspects of school and its ever-growing community.”

“Kimberly will graduate this year and we look forward to the process, knowing that she leaves very well prepared, both academically and socially, for all to come. We are also enormously appreciative for the support we have received through the Secondary School Selection Programme and know that she has found exactly the right setting for her to continue her academic adventure.”

“When not focused on work or study, we enjoy hiking, camping, beaches, theme parks, eating out and shopping. Hong Kong is a wonderful place to live.”
